HEADER PHOTOS

September 4, 2015: Apples, unsprayed, on an old twiggy apple tree. Great harvest coming. After the tree was slightly trimmed last year.

July 12, 2015: Sunset over the St. Lawrence River (Alexandria Bay, N. Y.) featuring tiger lilies and Canada in the background.

April 25, 2015: I managed to be awake at 6:30 a.m. while staying on Laurel Mountain near Henderson, North Carolina. Thus, I could photo the sunrise over the Blue Ridge Mountains.

April 18, 2015: We are awaiting The Birth of a Corpse Plant Blossom at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. We had to leave Orlando before it bloomed, but are watching the plant’s progress on time-lapse webcam (link in article). It blooms only once in a decade, and has an odor described as rotting flesh.

March 18, 2015: A Sea of Daffodils…announce the arrival of Easter and Spring

March 7, 2015: I caught this all-green balloon decoration on St. Patrick’s day a few years ago. It seemed fitting to head up Carolyn’s Online Magazine as the days progress to St. Patricks Day 2015.
