Rainbow Colored Doors Along Our Travels

Carolyn’s Online Magazine

I like the June 19, 2015, WordPress photo prompt, Roy G. Biv: Whether you opt for a single photo or seven, we want to see all the colors of the rainbow.

Often when I’m traveling I take rainbow hued pictures of houses, cars, trucks, storefronts, whatever. During our travels to Northern New York, near the St. Lawrence River, I began collecting pictures of doors —hoping to catch one to fit the WordPress prompt . I found everything but indigo. I also discovered the great majority of doors are white, black, or brown. Locating doors in rainbow hues was challenging.

The WordPress photo prompt for July 3, 2015, the day we were frantically packing for our travel as far as the St. Lawrence River, was share an image of a door, which the photos below accomplished.

As we travel through life we see many doors along the way. Do you ever wonder what happens behind those doors? I do. Each door, if opened, provides a story that needs to be told.

Note that several photos include flags, because we were traveling during the July 4th holidays.
