FYI, I haven’t abandoned Carolyn’s Online Magazine.
On July 4th we traveled to Slippery Rock, then left for Northern New York on July 9. There we attended a Holland family wedding on July 10 (on the St. Lawrence River). We are held over in the St. Lawrence River region of New York because my husband Monte has both a Holland family reunion and a 60th high school reunion on July 18. Then we shuffle off to Buffalo to visit members of my family, then return to Laurel Mountain Borough by way of Slippery Rock.
Meanwhile, Gabby, a writer from Pittsburgh, is enjoying a writing retreat at our home, and a friend, Caroline, is caring for our house, cats, and garden. I trust all is going well.
We are currently in the Ogdensburg Library using their computers.
Our temporary residence is on Black Lake in Edwardsville, NY. The birds are the subject of my trigger finger as I shoot them and retrieve neat photos. Monte and I are relaxing this week, resting a lot.
Will return to regular posting August 1. Meanwhile, have a jolly July.
