Wading In the Ocean at Rocky Neck State Park (Conn.) in Mid-Feb.

Carolyn’s Online Magazine (#COMe)

The WordPress prompt for June 12, 2015, is off-season.

What can be more off-season than crossing a New England beach in February and wading in the ocean? NOTE: For most of the photos, the photographer was my husband, Monte—obviously, I couldn’t have taken the pictures of myself (although I did take the photos of my reddened feet).

When we left there was a park attendant at the gate. We told her I’d been wading, then showed her the photos (digital cameras are advantageous).

“I didn’t believe you until I saw the photos,” she commented.
