IN PHOTOGRAPHY

The WordPress site photo challenge for February 20, 2015, to compose your subject off-center, obeying the Rule of Thirds.

What is the Rule of Thirds?

It  is a powerful compositional technique for making photos more interesting and dynamic.  It states that an image is most pleasing when its subjects or regions are composed along imaginary lines which divide the image into thirds — both vertically and horizontally:
