What better time to share photos showing the depth of love than during the Valentine’s Day season? With this in mind, I respond to the WordPress photo prompt of January 30, 2015: depth—the depth of love in many arenas.
Love birds are an important Valentine’s Day symbol coming out of Middle Ages England and France, likely because in mid-February birds begin to choose their mates, and/or the warbles of the first song bird are heard.
Must, bid the Morn awake!
Sad Winter now declines,
Each bird doth choose a mate;
This day’s Saint Valentine’s.
